We’re so pleased to be able to share our first-ever webinar, partnering with industry recruiters to give tips and tricks on how to update your resume, LinkedIn and website/portfolio. We were able to answer questions live and review resumes, websites and LinkedIn profiles to give our members a better understanding of what recruiters like, don’t like and recommend you include.

Pitch Yourself! A SPARKED x Mustache recruitment event
On January 29th, we hosted our first ever speed dating job fair with Mustache Agency, hosted at Scheimpflüg Chelsea. We were thrilled to feature event partners Droga5, The Mill, MPC, Area 17, The Music Playground / The Station Media, Dynamic Girls, Cutter Connections, and of course, Mustache!
The event welcomed over 100 participants who were able to have short, live interviews with each company to discuss job opportunities, while attendees networked in the beautiful space and enjoyed the complimentary snacks provided generously by Empanada Mama.
SPARKED was so excited to put our work into action, bringing candidates directly to recruiters and opening the doors to new partnerships. Literally our dream!
HOLIDAY NETWORKING EVENT, DEC 3RD 2019
We teamed up with JACK Studios to host our Holiday 2019 Networking event, where we also offered up free headshots from talented photographers Ronni Chow and Tammaria Wilson.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION PANEL, SEPT 26TH 2019
We were joined at MPC New York by a team of diversity advocates to discuss diversity and inclusion within the creative industries and how we as a community can action positive change amongst the workforce.

BORN BEN KICKSTARTER, MARCH 29TH 2019
We hosted a screening of Born Ben at Voyager in Brooklyn on Friday March 29th to support filmmaker and SPARKED member Bilali Mack’s in reaching his Kickstarter goal.
We’re excited to report that Born Ben achieved its Kickstarter goal the very next day and Bilali is now well on his way to completing the film!
